Definition: The CE mark is a safety certification mark, regarded as a passport for manufacturers to open up and enter the European market. Any product affixed with the "CE" mark can be sold within the member states of the European Union without the need to meet the requirements of each individual member state, thus enabling the free circulation of goods within the scope of EU member states.
